To update: open your nextSPOT config tool and click on the “Check Update” button, or directly download it from https://gdop01.fotokemglobal.com/login/nextspot
Following the onscreen instructions update/install the new app. Remember corporate computers may need administrator privileges to install/update applications depending on your user’s level. Please also note that this is a private app from FotoKem, you may need to allow the app to download in Windows or allow it to run in your Security and Privacy settings in Mac OSX.
Once installed, follow these steps to, verify that your browser is connecting to your download agent properly:
Open your updated nextSPOT configure tool and check/verify the download path. Shared computers should avoid using desktops and the user specific “downloads” folder.
Then verify that the app is running, it says “Stop Agent” when running or “Start Agent: when stopped.
Test the browser’s connection by opening a new tab to: https://local.fotokemglobal.com:8819/
If properly connected you will see “No Handler” This means the browser is connecting to the new download agent.
Refresh your browser page (F5) and test a download at https://nextSPOT.fotokem.com .
